Tomorrow I hit the grand old age of 76. I don,t really feel that age especially in a few weeks when I let loose on the club circuit in Pattaya Th. With my Canadian doctor telling me I would be lucky to make 70 and then a close call with Pneumonia more recently I have had to dismiss a sense of approaching doom and now make a point of looking ahead with more optimism. The forecast calls for some sun tomorrow so I will be heading over to my Sister's house to do some pruning etc. It will be good to get outside for a few hours and shake off the cabin fever.
I just had to buy a new microwave oven. The one I brought on returning to the U.K. 8 years ago gave up on me. I decided to take advantage of modern technology and sprung for a fancy model with a grill.
What a downer. You need a degree in electronics or a 6 year old kid to show you how to work it. I struggled for three days and did figure it out, but with only one knob and so many configurations you had to go through 6 different actions every time you put anything into it. The store where not too happy when I returned it for an exchange, but I came away with a model half the cost requiring only one action each time, turn the dial to the time required and Presto "Dinner is Served"
