It is a relatively new church, being built in 1991 to replace an older edifice. For several years they had paid for a professional landscaper to tend the gardens. On a regular basis I would see areas neglected, which frustrated me having spent my life in Horticulture. Then two years ago I heard he was leaving the area, so I quickly offered my services gratis.
Last Summer when I became ill and was hospitalized church members rolled up their sleeves and shared the maintenance tasks to see out the year.
This Spring I have been able to resume my landscape tenure and so much enjoy once again performing my craft, to enhance this venerable property. I was not able to grow flowers this time so in a couple of weeks I will be visiting the local garden center to augment some colorful splendor to the flower beds
